Picture Time!

Good morning to everyone!!  It's so beautiful out this morning!  Clear blue skies, sunny and 57 degrees in June! Can you believe it?!  A high of 76 degrees.  I'll take it!  :)  Well, I just wanted to post some pics and talk about some fun we had over the weekend.  To start the weekend off we headed to Starbucks to get a new drink we love, very berry refresher and went geocaching.  If you don't know what that is, it's so much fun!  You get to use your GPS and hunt for things people leave all around the area.  Here are a couple pics of our yumminess and our find from the geocaching.

The infamous very berry refresher! Yummmm!

Me and my hubby on the bridge at the park

Our little army guy we found complete with parachute!

On Saturday my hubby surprised me with lunch out and a run to whole foods for some yummy ingredients!  We tried out a place called Paradise Cafe and Bakery.  It was very yummy!  Hubby called it a girl place. lol Yes, yes it was.  But I loved it!  We were able to pick up some fresh shrimp from whole foods and a nifty insulated messenger bag to put all our groceries in.  I love those bags!
Yummy corn chowder, warm panini, a roll and of course a cookie and brownie not pictured ;)

The cool messenger bag!  Bolthouse farms breakfast smoothies we got for buy one get one free at Meijer! Score!
We made this oh so delicious new recipe with some couscous we bought at whole foods to go with our shrimp.  I must say that this will be a normal recipe we make in this house now. :)
Summer Couscous Salad, Shrimp and crescents.

Well, that's just some of the fun we had over the weekend.  I also must share with you my breakfast smoothies I tried out this morning!  I found it on a fitness youtube playlist.  Chocolate peanut butter smoothie!  Oh yes!  It tastes awesome!!  It's also mostly healthy!  Honestly I promise ;)
Mmmmm
Well, that's all I got!  I hope all of you have a great and blessed day!!

Refreshed

It has been sooo long since I've posted on the blog!  I felt like I needed to post something again so I'm back.  I wanted to talk about my spiritual life.  I had a revelation of some sort over the weekend.  I have been so relaxed in my spiritual walk lately.  We were able to spend last Sunday night at a church in OKC for Pentecost Sunday.  That place was rocking!  The Holy Spirit was so there.  Not anything crazy, don't worry I won't get weird on you.  ;)  To the ones that think that stuff is weird.  You could just feel Him there.  The worship was so intense and the message was great!  The old ORU president was there speaking.  He basically made a message out of his testimony.  Which I thought was awesome and so powerful.  It reminded me of what I learned a while back.  That we overcome by the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony.  Our testimony of powerful and for a while I was hiding it.  Ok ever since I got back into church I was hiding it.  It's not too pretty.  But I'm hoping it helps people one day.  Being in that service and there that weekend really opened my eyes.  I feel so passionate now.  So refreshed.  I haven't felt this way in years.  I only hope that I have the boldness and strength to live this out in the open.  God spoke to me and had me write out all the bad stuff that happened in my life and then all the good things he has done for me.  I did that and I realized God has taken care of me so much!  He is so good!  Anyways, I just wanted to talk about my refreshing moment and how awesome I've been feeling since that night.  Now, I'm not saying that everything is all peachy keen.  It's not.  I've got some things that I'm struggling with and I'm trying not to worry.  I'm going through healing of my emotions at the time too.  I believe I'm at the end!  I'm right at my breakthrough!  So it's not easy right now, but this refreshing He has put in my spirit has been pushing me!  It makes all those other things little compared to what God can do is going to do in peoples lives.  So if you want to take away something from this post, take away that God is always there.  He loves us and wants to refresh us and pour His love on us.  Even in troubles.  May He increase and I decrease.  May I live out boldly this new fire He has put in me.  I hope and pray I won't just sit here and let it leave again.  Hopefully I will be posting more regularly on here.  About all kinds of stuff!  So forgive me if I don't, and if I do I hope you enjoy it.  :)
